Grandpa’s birthday is right before Chinese New Year. This year we celebrated by bringing him for dim sum lunch, one of his favourite food.
Almost whole family were there, it’s always nice to have everyone around. Me and SIL baked cupcakes so it’s easier to eat, plain ones for the older folks and some with chocolate rice for the kids. SIL also took up the challenge of writing chinese words on the cupcakes.
Grandpa was really happy that day, with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren by his side.
